Course Highlight/ Description

The Master of Mechanical Engineering prepares graduates to be involved in management or research. This can be in the mechanical engineering field for government, industry, academic and other economic sectors in order to use their knowledge and skills in mathematics, science, engineering and other disciplines. This applies to designing, evaluating, and analysing complex engineering problems to anticipate the global, societal and environmental impact of their solutions.

Course Duration

Full-time: 1 year Part-time: 2 years

Entry Requirement

Recognised Bachelor’s Degree in
Engineering / Engineering
Technology or its equivalent with
a minimum CGPA of 2.5

Note:
When candidates with Bachelor’s of Science or Technology degrees or
their equivalents (non-engineering or engineering technology) are
admitted, prerequisite modules in Engineering and Engineering
Technology must be offered to adequately prepare them for their
advanced study. Degree holders with CGPA above 2.0 but less than 2.5
may be admitted subject to a rigorous internal assessment process.
