The Department of Chinese Studies of Southern University College is the pioneer Chinese studies department approved by the Malaysia Ministry of Education ahead of all other Chinese community-funded universities in Malaysia. The objective of the Diploma in Chinese Studies programme is to foster interest in Chinese studies in students at the pre-university level. Our curriculum focuses on the literature, history and philosophy of classical Chinese as well as modern Western humanities.
